About the Featured Speakers:

 

Suzanne Sorensen has worked for over 30 years in the financial industry, most recently as a Vice President/commercial loan officer specializing in SBA loans. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Health Center of Southeast Iowa, the Burlington Area YMCA/YWCA, and the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as President of the Burlington Notre Dame Foundation, Past Chair of Grow Greater Burlington (Economic Development), and as Allocation Chair for United Way of Southeast Iowa. She is currently the owner/operator of The Grange Public House & Brewery in Mount Pleasant, IA. Ms. Sorensen served as Treasurer of The Board until her transition as the first Executive Director of the newly formed Belle Center, Inc., a non-profit organization on the prior Iowa Wesleyan University campus in Mount Pleasant, IA.

David Tominsky is an entrepreneur and community builder based in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Tominsky has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition and founded a technical recruiting company before leading the Iowa Startup Accelerator. He was the Chief Relationship Officer at NewBoCo, where he led their technical and creative services team building products and prototypes for startups. Tominsky serves as a Partner at Novy and oversees the Ideation and Validation stages.
