This week’s presenter: Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP)
The Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) is a youth exchange program that was initiated by the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in 2007. It has since brought over 2,700 promising Iraqi and Kurdish students to the U.S. to develop their leadership skills and foster intercultural connections, strengthening mutual understanding between Iraq and the U.S.
During their program in Iowa, the students will be going through intensive educational and skill-building workshops where they can engage with the community and grow in their leadership skills while creating community-based projects that deepen their knowledge and ability to implement them upon return to their home country.

- 9:00- 9:40 a.m. Introductions and Presentations
