UI (User Interface) refers to the visual elements and design of a software or application, including buttons, icons, and overall layout, to create an aesthetically pleasing and functional interface. UX (User Experience) encompasses the overall user journey and interaction with a product, focusing on usability, accessibility, and the overall satisfaction of the user. Together, UI/UX design aims to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for users when interacting with digital products.
Jess Faber: As UI/UX Designer and Director of Marketing at NewBoCo in Cedar Rapids, Jess prides herself on creating well-thought-out, user-centric designs that are based on both analytical and user data. She is a veteran e-commerce designer/developer who now works with various local clients and startups building custom solutions. When she isn’t building, she’s teaching others to build.
