We’re celebrating with a special drawing for some of our favorite items.\nAs our Spring CoderDojo season comes to a close\, we want to say “thank you” to our amazing community. We’re holding a special drawing for some gear we know you love\, like the Turing Tumble and LEGO Chain Reaction kits! \nHow it works: Every student receives one free entry. If you’d like to support our future programs\, additional tickets are available for $1 (or a “bundle of six” for $5). All proceeds stay right here\, helping us restock the consumable materials and spare parts that make our projects possible. \nLet’s end the season on a high note. More about CoderDojo. \n  \nThis Sessions Special Guest: Korriban Squad of the 501st Legion\nJust days away from “May the forth be with you”\, we want to celebrate Star Wars by bringing the Korriban Squad of the 501st Legion. The Legion promotes interest in STAR WARS and facilitates the use of these costumes for STAR WARS-related events as well as contributes to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work\, with the Korriban Squad representing the local chapter. In addition to celebrating with the Korriban Squad\, we will encase a Star Wars character\, Han Solo into oobleck\, which is a mixture of cornstarch and water and then briefly frozen. One form of creative writing is ‘black out’ or ‘erasure’ poetry\, where students and families use a piece of existing writing\, choose areas of the writing to ‘black out’ or erase\, and transform the original writing into a poem or other creative expression. \nPlease register for this event so we can adequately prepare.

Choose from fun\, hands-on projects like pinch pot monsters\, coil bowls\, or mythical creatures—perfect for all skill levels. Not only are we creating art\, but also learning about the science of heating clay and the chemical reaction that occurs to harden it. \nPlease register for this event so we can adequately prepare.
