Nonprofit Innovation Services
Innovative Practices for Nonprofits
Nonprofits need to innovate just as for-profit companies do. Nonprofits need to sense changes in the marketplace, build new donor relationships that leverage technology, create high performance teams, and develop internal operations that are efficient and responsive. The same tools and techniques that work at for-profit companies can be used for the benefit of our nonprofit sector – and our communities.
Our Nonprofit Innovation Services
We’ve developed a series of standardized and custom offerings to help you and your team adopt nonprofit innovation practices at your own pace and to fit a variety of organizational strategies.
Interactive Innovation Workshop
Get your employees out of the office and into one of our day-long workshops, where they will acquire the skills and common language for a culture of innovation. This day-long Interactive Innovation Workshop teaches nonprofit leaders and their teams to:
• develop a broader understanding of innovative thinking and behaviors
• how to apply innovative tools in your everyday thinking
• take these tools back to strengthen your teams
We will explore the different types of innovation, review case studies, learn and practice four collective intelligence tools that will unlock an innovation mindset in how you approach your work. We will end our day with a session led by the Iowa Startup Accelerator’s Managing Director David Tominsky.
