DESCRIPTION:Focus on Data\nThis unit empowers students to use data to solve problems by engaging with computer science as a medium for creativity\, communication\, problem-solving\, and fun. Educators will learn about the updates to this unit over the past couple of years as well as how this unit can integrate with mathematics. \nCost breakdown:\nOne Workshop: $30\nFour Workshops for one educator will receive a $20 discount.\nFour workshops for up to 10 teachers from a district would be a discount of $100 to be $1\,100 total. \nCS Modules:\nNewBoCo Education\, in partnership with Code.org\, is excited to offer four virtual training modules for 5th–9th-grade educators across the country. These sessions are designed to empower teachers with tools and resources that bring computer science into their classrooms through engaging\, hands-on units. \n\nRegister through the CS Modules Page\n \nIf you will need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event\, please contact Assistant Director of K12 Education\, Alison Mhor at alison@newbo.co.
