We’ll show what it looks like to be a software developer through a day-long immersive course for beginners that focuses on front-end web development technologies.
We’ll introduce you to the fast-paced DeltaV learning experience, discuss how websites are built, and help you code a webpage yourself using professional coding practices.
Experiences include:
- The Modern Web; how the pieces work together, client side, server side, UX/UI
- HTML & CSS; Building your website, common tags and uses, integrating style sheets, modifying CSS styles
- The Tech Industry; A typical day for a software developer, common job titles, the path to becoming a web or mobile developer
When the day is done, you will understand the basics of what it means to be a professional software developer, understand how HTML and CSS work together to create the modern web, have created a complete website, and know how to deploy your website and share your accomplishments with friends and family. Plus, you’ll be better prepared to identify whether a career in coding and the DeltaV program are right for you!
