Position Summary

NewBoCo is looking to hire a Corporate Partnerships Manager to help our development team implement a strategy to increase the size, scope and capability of the non-profit organization throughout the state of Iowa. As part of the SDG (Sponsors/Donors/Grants) Team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will have significant revenue-generation, relationship building, stewardship, strategy, and implementation responsibilities. Through this role, this person will be deeply involved and be able to work with a wide variety of exciting projects and events that NewBoCo operates.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate, manage, and grow relationships with priority corporate partners/sponsors
  • Negotiate partnership terms and contracts with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Initiate innovative ideas to generate new revenue and add value to partnerships, and develop compelling presentations and proposals
  • Align sponsor values with support for various programs at NewBoCo in entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech education
  • Serve as primary contact with partners, coordinating all internal and external resources to ensure the programs are effectively executed and partners’ objectives are achieved
  • Negotiate sponsorship terms and contracts with key stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams to develop visibility/communications activities to promote the partnerships

Some details you should know
  • This is a full-time, salaried role commensurate with experience
  • Requires flexibility to work limited evening and weekend hours (rare, but may occur throughout the year) as needed for meetings, projects, and events
  • You’ll be required to pass a background check and enter an agreement to safeguard proprietary information of NewBoCo and our clients as a part of the on-boarding process
